Privet Bali reminds to all tourist visiting to the country to present their passport which valid at least six (06) months from the date of entry to Indonesia, and request that every tourist have proof of onward passage (either return or through tickets). Please double check with the nearest Embassy of Indonesia to get an updated list of countries that do not require a visa to enter Bali/ Indonesia, or for countries that require and are eligible for Visa On Arrival. The Visa On Arrival is non extendable and cannot be converted into a different visa. Citizens of countries not on the Visa On Arrival or Visa Free list will be required to apply for a visa before entering Indonesia. If any tourist cannot fulfill the above requirements, they may not be allowed to entry the country. Privet Bali, local business partners/ inbound tour operators or any other institutions in Bali are not held responsible for the failure of applying this visa/ passport policy.

Every tourist arrive to Bali after step out from the aircraft exit door and walking away before going into queue up area, tourist has to watch carefully several sign boards has been placed/ hanged up in this area. For those tourist has NO VISA, they have to look for the VISA ON ARRIVAL sign board and stay in queue in these lines. For those tourist are holding visa from their country, then they have to look for NON VISA ARRIVAL sign board and follow to queue in FOREIGNER lines. Visa will be issued on arrival at the airport in Bali with cost of US$ 25 net per person/ head for a 30 days stay.

Before traveling to Bali, Privet Bali will strongly recommend to every tourist to book their travel arrangement through bona-fide Travel Agent/ Wholesale from their country including airlines, hotel and other land arrangements in Bali because overseas Travel Agent will have local partner in Bali to take care tourist in case any other services are needed while tourist staying in the Island. Privet Bali will not recommend to every tourist to book their travel arrangement in Bali through any website company or direct arrangement through someone which is not reliable or through any unreliable travel company to avoid disappointment services given by them while in Bali.

While tourist in Bali, Privet Bali is highly recommend to every tourist to engage with their local tour operator at all time for every services needed by tourist and NOT even try to ask for an assistance from anyone on the street or from unknown company which will be available everywhere and request to every tourist to be alert at all time to avoid disappointment services might be happened.

As part of hotel policy and procedures in Bali, all in house tourist are required to have their ID card/ passport for check in procedures. This applies as well to all tourist visiting and staying in the hotel. Every hotel in Bali reserves the right to refuse any tourist patronizing the hotel area without any valid ID card.

Please be aware of the following Customs Regulations at International Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali upon tourist arrival :
  • Goods obtained overseas exceeding FOB US$ 250 per person or US$ 1,000 per family ?
  • More than 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 200 grams sliced tobacco or 1 liter of alcoholic beverages ?
  • Animals, fish and plants including their products ?
  • Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, fire arms, weapons, ammunition, explosive, pornographic materials ?
  • Cinematographic films, pre recorded video tapes, video laser discs or records ?
  • Bank Notes in INDO Rupiah or other currency equal to 100 million Rupiah (US$ 11,000) or more ?

  • Each arriving passenger must submit Customs Declaration (only one Customs Declaration per family is required).
  • Should tourist has dutiable goods to be re-exported, please contact Customs.
  • Any undeclared dutiable goods will be considered as violation and subject to administrative fine.
  • Severe punishment for drug traffickers.
